      Pros

      From day one, the company culture is incredibly welcoming and inclusive. It’s easy to feel like part of the team straight away, with colleagues who are supportive and approachable. There are strong learning and development opportunities, and you’re encouraged to build new skills and progress in your career. The environment really promotes collaboration and continuous improvement.

      Cons

      Can take a while to understand the organisational structure.

      A great place to work for anyone starting out in HR

      Pros

      The team is made up of some of the nicest, most helpful, and supportive people I’ve ever worked with. The open-plan workspace helps give a sense of unity, rather than separated by hierarchy. The role gave me a huge amount of exposure, experience, and confidence in a very short space of time, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow professionally. They are also very accommodating when it comes to flexible working and personal circumstances. A great role for anyone starting out in HR and wanting to gain experience.

      Cons

      While the role offers excellent exposure and development opportunities, it can also come with periods of very high and stressful workloads. The level of responsibility and pressure did not feel fairly reflected in the salary.

      Loving my time with EPM

      Pros

      Friendly and welcoming environment. Freedom over day and decisions, no micro-managing. Generous break time arrangements with freedom to choose when and how long up until a hour which is plenty. Good variety of staff benefits to be claimed. Work is rewarding as aiding schools feels meaningful. Inclusive team structures in place that help to make you feel you belong somewhere in the company. Hybrid work pattern after probation offering great work life balance. Extra paid overtime is offered.

      Cons

      Female dominated work place which could make it hard for a male new starter to feel like they belong. Longer probation period then usual which is frustrating but necessary.
