Pros

Supportive coworkers, mission statement is easy to support, great variety of daily tasks, approachable and generally understanding line managers, opportunities to work with students and children in a fullfilling manner

Cons

High turnover rate, high levels of miscommunication between departments, inadequate recognition and pay from upper admin, line managers unable to support guides fully due to leadership team decision-making

Cons

Leadership don’t care about the staff or the business really. The turnover rate at DE is like no where else. An unbelievably toxic and unsafe environment. Some departments working extreme hours without extra compensation, DO NOT APPLY

Pros

Being on the floor allowed rotation in the day, staff were moved every hour or so to a different area which made the job less stagnant. Cheap meals in the cafe for staff and ASVA passes available. The FOH staff were a good bunch to work with and the V.S management were nice enough.

Cons

The place really needs updating. The CEO and Science Director were really stuck in their ways and reluctant to change. Hours weren’t the best for some, but I was a student at the time so it worked for me.
