Half off discount, tips, accessible and easy payroll system and transparent scheduling
Cons
Scheduling isn't consistent and changes week by week based on everyone's availability, FOH cashier night shifts are solely just for closing which is a lot of work especially if you're in school part time and need to work nights, shifts are mostly available as 6-7 hours long, not many opportunities for growth/pay raise/cross-training. It's also very difficult to get shifts covered or switched. No phone usage/if you have time to lean you have time to clean. I was paid more at previous jobs that had little to no work compared to DH that has a lot of tasks for bare minimum wage.
Pay was fair, management was reasonable, and the job was an overall good experience. While my stay was brief, the company offers many unique opportunities for long-term employees.
Cons
Work might be too physically strenuous for some potential employees, but not most of them.
Majority of the staff is easy going, pretty easy job
Cons
Training is minimal, dirty, not paid enough for being the cashier, food runner, and busser. Micromanaging, get guilted for taking days off. Promise to give raises if you learn Front of house and back of house, but it’s just a scheme to get you to work more without the pay
