Pros

Unsure of pros at this time

Cons

Hired and fire a little over 30 days later. Says I was on probation, team did not invest in training. Role I was hired for was unavailable, they needed a help desk worker. Micro managed - small team and everyone roles are not defined

Pros

- Wonderful team of like minded people who support each other in every way. - Excellent time off strategy and a big focus on personal well being and work-life balance, where appropriate. - Leadership is very understanding of personal circumstances and very willing to help you work through things that come up. - Leadership, including Team Leads, are exceptionally open and honest about all aspects of the business, which is quite refreshing. - Team Leads make a continuous effort to check in and offer support and even training when desired. - Primarily remote with one day per week in-office, with the option to come in more frequently if desired. The company buys lunch for the team on every weekly in-office day

Cons

- Work has a tendency to fall deeply into the "grind culture" in the sense that you will likely be in a continuous state of having 8+ days worth of things to do in a 5 day period. - Restructuring and semi-frequent paradigm shifts that lead to team frustration and confusion. - Product vision and feature prioritization can be a moving target at times, often swayed on short notice by the wants of the bigger customers. This can lead to delays, team frustration, and mounting tech debt. - By and large understaffed for the workload needed. - Depending on the department, you will likely find many instances of "This could have been an email" meetings, sometimes making it hard to find some solid hours of being able to focus and work uninterrupted.
