Pros

The founders have a great reputation, and the company is backed by good funding. The biggest perk of joining? You’ll become amazing at managing people. Senior management can be tough to deal with, which will force you to level up your people-management skills quickly. To be clear, this isn't a reflection of an employee's competence; it's just about learning how to navigate big personalities.

Cons

Your Slack could get deactivated one morning without prior notice, and the severance pay is pretty low. You will also be expected to work well past your regular hours without any overtime pay. On top of that, upper management is very self-focused. If you are a junior or mid-level manager, you will be handling most of the day-to-day operations, while leadership calls all the major shots. When it comes to strategy, you won't really have a say – even when you share good ideas, they often get shot down. To be clear, this has nothing to do with an employee being incompetent; it's just the nature of the leadership style here.
