Pros

Great and talented junior team, always ready to help, learn and improve.

Cons

Barely any promotions happened in last two years. Since new HK office lead has took over, many legendary talents and reliable long term team members had to quit after facing politics and bullying by only one senior leader who thinks she has the authority to dehumanize and illtreat senior members of the team just because they are smarter and better than her. There is no leader left in the verticals of Strategy and Client service. She is constantly looking for talent as long term clients have been cautious of working further due to lack of talent and also an industry news of her wrong doings I highly recommend to shuffle HK leadership, as it had caused many dents to business and resources.

Pros

The team within this agency is undoubtedly one of the best I've had the pleasure of working with. Member demonstrates exceptional talent, creativity, flexibility, and open-mindedness, which are invaluable qualities in a collaborative environment. The camaraderie among us is palpable, opening a room for an authentic connection that greatly enhances productivity and creativity.

Cons

The current leadership situation within the team is concerning. There appears to be a lack of clarity, ambiguity, and political maneuvering, which is creating a disrespectful environment for the team members. It's evident that a change in leadership is necessary to cultivate a more cohesive and respectful team dynamic. A successful leader should possess the ability to unite the team, demonstrate respect, and provide guidance through coaching and mentorship. Unfortunately, the current leadership style has led to a poor work environment, characterized by unnecessary pressure and bullying tactics. This has resulted in the departure of valuable talent and an increase in the need for mental health support among team members. Moreover, the leadership's inability to see the bigger picture and motivate the team towards wider objectives highlights a lack of experience and foresight. It's imperative for the leadership to not only set goals but also to inspire and support the team in achieving them. While HR is aware of the situation, their assistance has been limited, exacerbating the issue. It's crucial to address these concerns promptly before they escalate further and potentially impact the relationships with trusted clients. In a close-knit community like Hong Kong, negative perceptions can spread rapidly, underscoring the urgency of resolving these issues before they cause irreversible damage.
