Pros

Some nice folks here and there but place had a weird vibe.

Cons

Poorly managed. My health insurance was never even activated and they tried to stiff me on a bonus.

Don't Ignore the Reviews

Pros

by the Battery, lots of experience since they cannot keep attorneys long enough to become senior associates.

Cons

Super toxic work environment. More gossiping then working. They will try to speak ill on you internally and externally once you leave. Save your reputation and spend a couple more weeks job hunting. You can show up, provide results, and you will still be talked about horribly. If you choose to work here, you need thick skin and more medical benefits to cover the therapy you'll need dealing with the horrible personalities. Cannot keep 90% of associate attorneys longer than a year. Do not ignore the reviews, best of luck if you do.

Pros

There's enough work to hit bonus. If you have thick enough skin to put up with a toxic environment, you can make decent money.

Cons

Understaffed, constant revolving door of associates and support staff leading to dysfunction. The only feedback you receive will be on the partner's constantly shifting and often contradictory requirements, which are time consuming and almost never have any impact on the outcome of a case, more likely to be personal preferences on word choice. If you want actual mentorship or guidance on an issue, you will find that while the door may be open, it's certainly not a collaborative or mentorship environment. Once you inevitably get on the partner's bad side, expect a shift in work environment as they belittle you constantly. You either take the abuse like some of the people that have been there forever or you leave. There's one partner folks want to work for and one they don't. If you're going to take a risk on this place, figure out who you're going to be working for.
