If you want actual mentorship or guidance on an issue, you will find that while the door may be open, it's certainly not a collaborative or mentorship environment. Once you inevitably get on the partner's bad side, expect a shift in work environment as they belittle you constantly. You either take the abuse like some of the people that have been there forever or you leave. There's one partner folks want to work for and one they don't. If you're going to take a risk on this place, figure out who you're going to be working for.
