Pros

Deer Oaks provides a great career that provides flexibility and job satisfaction. You're able to help underserved populations who are pretty diverse. Deer Oaks was quick to provide PPE and provide their clinicians support during the pandemic and I've been able to work successfully during this time. I would highly recommend this company.

Cons

You do need good time management skills and be able to work independently and adaptive a variety of different environment.

Pros

The people are wonderful, helpful, and caring. The pay schedule is regular and clearly explained. The nursing facilities are often glad to have Deer Oaks providers there for behavioral health support of their residents.

Cons

It is often hard to find time to connect with other Deer Oaks employees, especially in more rural locations, and this can lead to feeling there is little support in the sense of "coworker to coworker" relationships. But supervisors and business managers are always available.
