- CEO does not know how to run a start-up.
- They have one product that makes money but is more government/DoD focused. They have "ideas" but the execution sucks and they have never been able to commercialize anything. Their "commercial" dreams run on government grants and empty promises
- If you look at LinkedIn it might seem they are doing great things but it's all smoke mirrors. The CTO gives presentations and demos all over the world on vibe coded ideas that have no rhyme or reason and they flat out dont work
- Managers dont know how to give employees feedback
- The upper management runs the company like a taco truck, i.e., focus more on things that make money, and ignore everything else. This means that they ideas they were apparently founded on get ignored. This is not how startups succeed.
- The upper management and especially the CEO wants to pay people pennies and doesnt want to hire new people. They claim AI-Native comm and first company to do that blah blah blah. It's literally a couple of people who do all this work. They are good hardworking people but they just dont have the expertise to figure things out
- The CTO is apparently an IEEE Fellow but he has no real expertise except running a ton of ML experiments in parallel hoping something would stick. He is a nice guy but he has no backbone which means he doesnt have a say in anything in the company. The CEO runs the company exactly like an old white dude who should be playing with his grandkids in the backyard and not trying to run a company that is trying to be "disruptive".
- Some of the "most important" projects have been running without proper management for years. They go on LinkedIn and write post about doing earth shattering work that has never been done before, and how they are getting so many grants, but the project is actually a couple of recent grads running ML experiments on things they have no clue about
- They claim Intel and Nvidia partnerships but there is no partnership. It's all smoke and mirrors
