Pros

The hours are somewhat flexible

Cons

If you are sick you might still have to work even if you have a note saying you are sick because the job is remote. Wage is very low and there is no opportunity for growth. Raises are possible after 4 months and are not given to current employees even if the hiring rate increases.

Pros

You can work from home/apartment or anywhere with internet. Flexible hours and schedule. That’s about it.

Cons

Low pay!! They misclassify you as an independent contractor rather than an employee so they don’t have to pay minimum wage, overtime, or other benefits. They take deductions from your check if they think you aren’t working. Management is rude and disengaged. They don’t care about you, only about their bottom line and their deadlines. I filed a complaint with the California Department of Industrial Relations. I’m hoping the company will classify us as employees like we are.
