Pros

Catered lunch and Dinner. They cover a pretty good amount of the healthcare cost

Cons

Very long hours even if all projects and work is done, they would rather have you in the office doing nothing then go home at a normal hour. Impossible culture to adjust to if you have any family or life outside of work. Very difficulty personalities to deal with from the company as a whole ( thankless and entitled). CEO often makes you feel uncomfortable with comments like " if you mess this up you are dead to me"

Pros

Nobody ever says I don’t speak my mind so here’s the truth: DataRobot is a dream come true and a phenomenal place to work. Although our world is in a difficult place right now, we are a group of people who want to do something big here. I've been in this industry for a long time and can say that after being at DataRobot for over 4 years, I don't have a single regret. The people here are literally some of the smartest, kindest and most dedicated people I've ever met - from management thru product to marketing and sales. You name it and there is a friendly face or a person eager to step in and help when asked. You get access to anyone and it’s an open door to share your input, raise a concern or ask for something that will help you grow as a person. What other company has a CEO so passionate about his people that he created a program called DreamBig that allows the employees to think outside the box, to grow personally and professionally, and to choose a passion and go for it? You get a chance to work SMART here – it’s not hard work when you care as much as everyone here does. Want to help find answers to COVID? Go for it. Have an idea about how to promote a better way to work in a virtual manner? Do it. Feel really strongly that you should be a part of a certain domain or mission focus, then make the case for it and it will likely happen for you. I don’t have any issues with working smart and working hard! It’s what makes most of us happy. Being a part of an organization that wants to truly build an iconic company for the ages isn’t a pipedream – it’s our reality and we will get there and I feel truly blessed. We have a product and strategy for customer success that bar none are the best in the AI/ML space. We constantly over-perform and double-down on our efforts for our customers to find value and we will not stop until we help them see success. I am so thankful to be here and to be part of something big. Nothing great ever comes easily, so I applaud the team I work with day after day who shows up and gets stuff done to take us to that next level without complaint and with a leadership team who allows us this opportunity!

Cons

May sound ridiculous to call it a con but I think stating unlimited vacation has created an atmosphere where people often think this equates to meaning that whether they've been here 6 months or 5 years, that they can (and do) take endless time away from the office. It's annoying and I suspect not the true intent of the policy.

Pros

There's a lot of talented people who work here. The company is actually quite well run from a logistical point of view, and the product is almost unbelievable. The CEO is an emotionally damaged person, but he has gotten better over the past few years and he does work hard.

Cons

Leadership is frat boy-fop Nomenklatura, and most of the domains are run by the 4th or 5th dumbest person in your high school.
