Pros
Pleasant environment in the office. Pays very well (monthly salary x1.3-1.9, depending on region). A lot of autonomy and good communication skils required.
Cons
The environment on site is quite different: can be quite pleasant but also very harsh. Being abroad for 2 months can be difficult. A lot of flexibility is also required. From personal experience: diversity/inclusion = 0: no mean and if there are, they are most likely not respected.

The technical variety and challenging circumstances make working as an engineer for DEME very exciting. No employer is perfect but the flexibility, decent salary and overall vibe are enough motivation to stay.
Cons
Many people come and go.
