Pros
Crosspoint Realty Services is an excellent company. I recently left after working there for many years and I can honestly say it was a great opportunity and experience working with so many top-notch people and quality clients where everyone pulls together to give first class client service. This is why I stayed so long and why it has so many long time (8+ years) employees. I think the secret of its success is that it has high standards, takes care of its people, looks at the long-term horizon, tackles things head on and doesn’t cut corners. Plus, people like to laugh and have fun. For an employee it’s a great home if you are someone who likes to contribute, assume responsibility, and grow in what you know and can do. That goes for everyone, whether you are a Property Manager, Accountant or whomever, and if you’re willing to invest of yourself and work hard, you will find it a rewarding experience.
New property managers are given front line responsibilities right away, working with senior management, tenants, vendors, contractors and even clients, and can assume more and more responsibility as they learn the ropes of the industry and nuances of the particular portfolio they are assigned to. In addition to day to day business issues, they help prepare monthly operations and financial reports, annual budgets, projections, etc., and if they take to it and enjoy responsibility, can ultimately grow to be a manager for a large property or portfolio of properties supervising others.
New accountants get immediate involvement with full cycle accounting, financial statement preparation, projections, reconciliations, etc., plus the annual budgeting process. So, it’s an excellent place to use your accounting education and grow if you’re looking for a well-rounded experience.
In short, Crosspoint Realty is a quality company with top notch people and is a good find for anyone looking for an opportunity to grow in their careers and develop their business chops at a winning organization with quality clients, particularly if you are interested in commercial real estate.
