Credit Control needs to get some Control...

Pros

Close-knit work environment, you spend so much time with your co-workers that you end up building bonds with them and you can make some great life-long friends. Decent bonus structure; maximum bonus monthly is $3,000. Management gives out incentives through fun competitions.

Cons

Management are all so close in and outside the work place that at times the professionalism goes out the window. Favoritism is apparent. Certain collectors find different ways to rig the system, or find a way to get the routed calls. Inconsistent training and policies. Annual compliance testing is falsified. Unethical business practices.

Family atmosphere. Encouragement from others. Great training.

Cons

Like any other collection positions (and really any employment) laws change and office procedures change so an open mind is essential.

Pros

I enjoy my co-workers and the friendships I've formed, when the whole company gets together it's a good time, yearly raises and the bonus on your anniversary are appreciated. Pretty relaxed work environment as long as you follow the rules, most of the time managers are flexible with time off.

Cons

Favoritism, lack of communication, all managers don't follow the same rules, a bit cliquey.
