Pros

Decent pay and benefits, computers and office are new

Cons

Short walled open cube farm with very limited opportunity for advancement. Forced re-entry during a statewide spike in COVID despite record productivity and profits working from home and while going through a hostile buy out attempt. Our Board of Directors and Execs are hyper-focused on telling us why we need to vote any shares of ownership to protect them - hypocritically as they no longer protect us, lol. Then they force us to take 2 weeks PTO on days that they assign to clear the liability off the books.

Pros

There are no pros.. When Livermore left that was the beginning of the end of the company as we knew it. An engaged, caring and goal oriented company. Good people worked for the company.

Cons

Not employee oriented. Sweatshop work environment. They acquire businesses and expect the employees to keep adding to their workload while reducing staff. Very cut throat and insensitive.

Pros

They lead with table stakes, benefits, a nice office, ESPP, and 401K

Cons

The executive leadership is some of the most out of touch, selfish, magicians out there. They lead with table stakes, benefits, a nice office, ESPP, and 401K which are good yet lets take a gander at what it really like to work there. -They forget that in some of their markets (Denver, San Diego, Austin) are extremely competitive. The good talent loves what they do but at some point the dollars become so much of a spread that you have to consider leaving. They have these levels, quartiles, but everyone is so far below the quartiles because they have suppressed raises for so long that even with the average 2-3% per year (1-2 years missed) means that an average 5 year tenured employee won't get a promotion. Oh and lets not forget the occasionally change in some codes that push you further down in these quartiles. -Layoffs and lack of supporting key functions - IT, Marketing and HR all being demanded upon, looming "shocktobers" coined by the leadership team themselves (how is that for compassion) put an increasingly big tax on already thin organizations. This then requires you to work even more hours for a workload that was already insurmountable. -COVID, this group of executives is focused on a relentless quest to bring the entire company back to the office. They have spent technology resources to sign an attestation to make sure you "agree" to work from the office, when the company has had the most record breaking quarter in the company's history. Most companies allow you to work from home, but this company won't even require a temperature check, they call it the honor system for a disease that has people who are asymptomatic. The company has spent millions of dollars on plexiglass, when what it really needs is an injection of cash to let this company, the shareholders, and the employees thrive. Working mothers, good luck to you, this leadership team offers nothing to mothers who are juggling homeschooling and scare resources. School is not from 8-5, school is from 745-230 for some so are you going to weed out the mothers who are struggling and already taxed on both ends just to see who really is committed. -Finally, we are under a hostile takeover. All leadership and company resources are being used to spin lame press releases, convince employees thru daily emails, and waste time from what really all employees want - which is to get rid of this entire executive leadership team and start over. Any change at the top would be welcome to the average employee.
