      Good teammates and pay overshadowed by layoffs and politics

      Pros

      Really good teammates, decent manager, hybrid or fully remote options, decent pay, bonuses annually for office folks and quarterly for plants that perform well.

      Cons

      New CEO, loss of excellent c-suite folks, very clique-y at the top and level 2, senior managers and directors that kiss butt and get promoted, few promotions for mid-level, LAYOFFS (!!!!!!!), seasonal nature of the business, good ole boys clubs, waaaaaay too many acquisitions and brands, did I mention LAYOFFS????

      Pros

      The new Cornerstone Building Brands leadership team is truly focused on making this a great place to work! They have taken the time to understand the challenges of the past and are working to create a culture of integrity, teamwork and open communication. It's been less than a year since the merger and I can already see a positive difference!

      Cons

      Benefits could be better, but the good news? Leadership team is working on that too!
