Pros

Staff are great to work with. Family oriented.

Cons

since buying CSI & merging the 2 companies there have been a lot of lay-offs on the Compressco side & what Compressco stood for seems to be fading away.

Pros

No micromanaging, able to work independently without someone looking over your shoulder all day.

Cons

Blatantly racist and sexist atmosphere. I was told to file applications from qualified Black applicants instead of forwarding them to unit managers with the explanation, "We already have our token black employee." Sexual harrassment (or "workplace romance/flirtations" as they call it) is rampant in the offices. Pay is very low compared to industry standard.

Pros

The pros would have been before new Management took over around 2016. Those Pros were you get to plan your own days ,make your own hours, and basically run your own company and be left alone while not having a deal with having your own company. You always got paid 8 hours a day no matter what even if you're home earlier in the day the work-life balance was As Good As It Gets.....not anymore.

Cons

First thing they'll tell you is that you can make your own hours, plan your own days, and this isn't just a job it's a career. There's a reason why nobody stays and its due to the upper management trying to control everything and being horrible to their employees. They will also tell you every second weekend you have off....but they will also forget to tell you that there's nobody else in your area to cover for you on your off weekend and they do not pay you for being on call having to sit around and wait for the phone to ring. This company was the best thing ever back when they had different management but the minute New Management took over in 2016 the job went to hell and back.
