Toxic Management, Favoritism, and Lack of Transparency
Pros
Decent benefits package (health insurance, PTO) and some hardworking frontline coworkers.
Cons
Comcast is a large company with a bureaucratic structure and limited management accountability. In my experience, favoritism was prevalent, with promotions and opportunities often appearing to favor those with personal or family connections over merit or qualifications. Performance reviews sometimes felt inconsistent or inaccurate, contributing to unexpected terminations in an at-will environment without thorough investigation or transparency. Leadership seemed slow to address concerns, fostering a culture where manipulation could thrive. Regional changes and mergers prioritized cost savings, often at the expense of employee stability, while protecting certain positions. The company expects high loyalty but can end employment abruptly.
