Pros

This is information about the company that you should know before joining the Coditas / before the interview

Cons

1. Coditas has a 3 month probation period. And within 3 months if you want to leave the company then notice period is 1 month and if Coditas fire you then it will be 7 days only. I think it should be equal. 2. Within 3 months if you take any leave then salary will deduct. Means you can not take leave within 3 months :) 3. When your probation period is complete then your notice period will be 3 months 4. You can not use the mobile phone inside the company :) 5. When you join the company, HR asked you change the company name immediate on your LinkedIn profile. I think this is because then you can not be reached out by other company. 6. After you join when you leave the office, Daily you have to send an email to your team lead about what you did today. 7. Coditas is a service based company and not a product based company so you have to feed the client needs as it comes. 8. If you are coming from another city other than Pune. Then the company do not provide the accommodation and relocation amount for you :)

Thank you very much for your review. I totally agree that all information should have been given prior and after me reading this feedback, I have made it a point to make sure all candidates know all the policies so that they make an informed decision. Information not being given was not intentional. The leave related policies are largely as a result us of copying industry wide policies but we are in the process of changing that. With regards to mobile, I am a very strong believer on keeping distractions away from your work. It affects productivity and there are enough studies on that. That being said, seems you to have written this review when you joined, what is your opinion 6 months down the line on this policy? Status reporting is more of a client requirement and IMO a self reporting tool to be able to articulate on paper what you achieved on that particular day. One more thing which helps in productivity in general. Again, thank you for your review and opinion. It was constructive for us and we have and are making some changes towards where we feel we can improve. Can you please update on how the journey has been for 6 months?

Pros

You will learn new technology but project time will be so short that you won't be able to learn how to do things properly.

Cons

They say to the client that "Yes, we will build your project in 3-4 months", without consulting their dev team. Dev team will be assigned to that project and will have to give more than 10 hours a day to meet the deadline. Otherwise, they will say you lack skills and make deadlines miss dev fault. The company says working hours are 9 which includes a 1-hour lunch break, but the project lead will ping you after working hours and expect to get replies. Unplanned leaves will lapse in Dec if you don't take them and If you take your accumulated unplanned leaves they will say why do you take so many leaves? We have to complete the project. CEO post big talks on Linkedin saying we don't ask our devs to work long hours, we refuse to take projects having unreasonable time estimate. But the reality is different, they do the opposite of these things. I have seen management people asking employees to report critiques they find on Linkedin. So, if you love to work long hours, if you want no personal life then this job is for you.

Now, where shall i begun? Management is plain inhuman.They can pull you out of bed and ask you to work.no respect for employees.slave treatment awaits everyday.

I am extremely disheartened to read this and upfront apologize for this. None of the things are adding up for me and hence I really want to believe that this is not someone from our team. We do not have Software Engineer as a designation nor can I attribute any of the qualities you mention to any of our current managers.
