We know that seeing colleagues let go is very hard and is not an easy thing for anyone. We strive to be as responsible as we can towards our business and our employees but sometime that means making really tough decisions. Please reach out to your manager or our HR team if you need more support or would like to talk more about this. Thank you.

Pros

The company offers several advantages, including the option for remote work and a flexible schedule, which provide a great work-life balance. Employees also enjoy a positive work environment, as co-workers are easy to get along with. Additionally, the company provides medical benefits, ensuring the well-being of its staff. For some employees, there are opportunities to work on projects that use the latest technologies, fostering professional growth and development.

Cons

The company faces several challenges, including low salaries and the absence of a clear timeline for employee promotions. Additionally, there is a lack of new projects, leaving many employees with significant downtime and uncertainty about potential layoffs. Furthermore, some of the current projects rely on outdated technology or do not use modern frameworks, focusing primarily on maintenance and support. This not only limits employees' exposure to the latest advancements but also raises concerns about the long-term sustainability of these projects if no improvements are made.

Still a risky company to work for

Pros

- Highly skilled MNL members. Very accountable and responsible. - WFH setup - Efforts on face to face gatherings but not required, so it still respects the WFH setup

Cons

- Even though there are no layoffs for MNL this year, layoffs still happened on sister agencies/ branches. Stability and retention is still poor. - Members are regularly reviewed, but salary increases are still not awarded to most, even if the member follows-up with their superiors. - Lack of representation for MNL members to US leadership. There is no proper probing to get more context and details and just directs the concerns to working members, causing unneccessary stress to the team. But when the MNL members are raising simple concerns about their US members, just to share, or to subtly ask for help/guidance, a great deal of questions will be asked from us, asking for proofs, etc, worst, the concern will not be opened up to leadership because we might just be misinterpreting or should try to understand the counterparts further, so even though we are asked to reach out for help, or anything, it is difficult to do so because we will be going through defense instead of simply hearing us out. - There are US members who treat offshore employees as staff or employees who are below them. Not respecting timezones or doing everything they can to put the blame on the working team instead of objectively resolving issues or slight mishaps as a group. - PTOs are approved at the last minute, like 1 day or 2 days before the PTO dates. Doesn't matter if coverage is already in place or even if it was filed 1 month or 2 months in advance. - Good workers are awarded with more work, picking up slack of other members or other agencies. - Taking projects with more risks over profit. There are projects awarded to the company that the company have no expertise on. It's okay to take on new projects, new technology, etc. But taking it on and not considering ample time for learning curves and training is just not right. - Members are all fully allocated to projects, not considering time for non-project related meetings, tasks or administrative work, causing some employees to frequently work over time.

Pros

1. Benefits of working remotely. 2. Flexible hours. 3. Various training materials are available for everyone. 4. People are helpful and approachable. 5. Good and improving benefits, thanks to our HR's initiatives. 6. Most of the people I work with are highly skilled and talented. 7. Work is appreciated. 8. Overtime (OT) is either paid or converted to PTO. 9. Management cares for the employees' well-being. 10. Issues are being dealt with head-on.

Cons

Since I joined in 2021, C&T has experienced significant changes, including mass hiring followed by mass layoffs.

Pros

This work will look amazing on your book. They get really big clients. If you can stick it out for a year or two its absolutely worth it as a creative just entering the field

Cons

Really shady layoffs and major feast or famine mentality. I’d spend days twiddling my thumbs freaked out that no work was coming my way and then be expected to drop everything and work overnight to please a client. But I guess that’s agency for you.
