Such a scam job

Pros

Met some friends I am still in touch with.

Cons

They take advantage of their interns, the money you make canvassing pretty much only goes towards salaries, not the actual cause.

Pros

The overall message of the company was very positive. Everybody loves environmental protection. A lot of the people that worked there already were very approachable and friendly.

Cons

People were friendly but overall very passive aggressive when giving criticisms during training. There is an extremely high turnover rate because people can't make it to the 190$ a day fundraising goal (when they say "goal", they mean minimum). They don't tell you that you'll be fired a week after you're hired, in the middle of training, if you don't meet the goal. Canvassing is physically and mentally strenuous since you're knocking door to door asking for money. You end the day really late sometimes at eleven pm. See also: "cut co"
