83% positive business outlook
Pros
Work is interesting, wlb is mostly good. Permanent wfh. Encouraged to take time off.
Cons
Occasionally long hours are necessary.
Pros
Interesting product and honest company.
Cons
Disorganized, long hours for below-market comp, constant product and engineering changes. Lots of enthusiasm at higher levels but doesn't really translate into actual results. Declining market cap. No idea when it'll go public.
Pros
Good compensation. Promising industry. Talented people. Remote first.
Cons
Long hours. Pivoting priorities. Rising politics.
Pros
High-profile company with decent public recognition Fast-paced environment for those who thrive under extreme pressure Exposure to various projects and initiatives
Cons
Be prepared to be "always available." You're expected to respond to requests regardless of the time or day, including weekends. The company operates with minimal backup coverage, meaning any time off creates pressure. Extended hours are the standard. Decision-making processes lack transparency, with directives coming down without context or explanation. This creates a reactive work environment where employees constantly put out fires rather than work strategically. Micromanagement is common, which is counterproductive given the pace. Department heads often lack relevant background for the areas they manage, leading to misaligned priorities and decisions that don't reflect industry best practices. This creates challenges for team members trying to execute effectively. Professional development opportunities are limited, and there's minimal investment in employee growth or wellbeing. When challenges arise, employees are expected to figure things out independently rather than receive guidance or resources. While the company has external recognition and works on interesting projects, the internal operations often don't match the public image. The culture prioritizes immediate results over sustainable practices or employee retention.
Pros
Pays well, okay benefits, annual stock refreshes
Cons
Lack of direction, lots of working hours
Pros
- Fantastic culture with the SRE organisation - Working on really interesting technologies - Great compensation - Unlimited PTO
Cons
- Not compensated for unsocial hours on call
Pros
- Good benefits compared to other companies. - They dont cut pay/salary based on location/cost of living, which is a great thing. - Exposure of crypto and you learn a lot. - Company mission seems good.
Cons
- Work weekends more than normal, if you gonna interview with them, make sure to ask how many hours they expect you to work at weekends in average in a month ( not every weekend but once every couple of weeks). - Condescending individuals on positions of power, unpleasant people to meet. Some of the worst coworkers and individuals I had the misfortune to meet and work with here. - Some people get promotions because they are the gaming buddy of the manager rather than merit. People that are ignorants or that do not deserve it get authority and screw the long term goals of the company. - Some groups have multiple managers but not actual leaders, there are teams that seem to have 2 managers, but there is no actual lead. So they delegate managing task to condescending individuals that have no touch with people and treat people like they were dumb. - Management seem to be ok with people using expletive language during meetings, at some point insulting other coworkers. When reporting it nothing was done since it was also a gaming buddy. - Lack of process of onboarding. - Too many meetings. Half day will go in to meetings, then they expect you to finish your task and exclude the time of the meetings.
Pros
- full flexibility for working hours - good projects to work on
Cons
- cant think of any
Pros
Opportunity to learn. 100% remote. Great momentum and promising future for the business model
Cons
Long hours for building up the industry from basically ground zero. (It is expected.)
