Coming from a few jobs in this industry, I knew what to expect - A 3PL with hard goals and revenue driven. Well... I was kindly surprised when I found out the contrary. They are more people driven and family oriented than larger companies. Choptank Transport has proven to me to be an energetic work environment that provides unlimited earning potential while still keeping a great culture. Being on the Eastern Shore of MD, there are not many options. Finding this gem of a career has proven to completely change my life for the better! Being in sales or logistics will be what you make it. Choptank provides cutting edge equipment and technology that makes it as easy as possible to propel your career. It is all about who wants to put in the work and who looks for a handout. You will need to work to achieve goals and they are easily attained with the right mindset. Another pro is the advancement opportunities in every department. Never have I seen so many promoted on a regular basis. The company is growing!

Cons

You have to put in the time to get better. If you are allergic to work - this will not be for you. Salaried career that will need more than 9-5 type work ethic to be successful.
