      Nothing special but fair

      Pros

      The salary was ok and there were bonuses from time to time. There is a very straightforward contract to sign which is fair and covers various issues that may arise. The company's culture is respectful and there is space to express your needs.

      Cons

      Depending on the department you are working there may be unpaid long hours. The offices are quite noisy and packed. People come and go all the time and it is difficult to feel part of a team. HR is a bit scary :)

      Pros

      Very aspirational when first started. Small team initially and everyone was supportive and mucked in. The offices are a real plus. Pay is decent.

      Cons

      As the business has grown it’s become more about using the right buzzwords rather than anything of substance. Chief Executive is too far removed from what actually happens on the ground. Should be a bonus having a female on the Board but she is ineffectual and only cares about image. Ends up getting involved in areas outside of her skill set. The rest of the board has some talented engineers if you can get them onto your projects.

      The office environment is great. There are some really good people. There have been some great technical projects (although less so recently)

      Cons

      Poor management. Genuinely don’t know what some of the board do. Have all the correct sound bites but little substance in reality. Some lock themselves away and you never see them.
