Healthy work / life balance encouraged, friendly culture, pay is decent and publically available. Plenty of training / development opportunities.
Cons
Bureaucracy. It's local government, what do you expect? If you're spending public money it needs to be carefully examined - unfortunately this can mean getting stuck in mountain of emails and projects getting delayed sometimes.
