Only the buddies of management gets you anywhere. Being lazy and friends with the higher-ups are the only ways to get any sort of promotion.

Pay and Benefits are good depending on job and location in the project.
Cons
If you want to see how management can treat people like a number this is the place for it. Send you away for weeks at a time on rotational work then pay you based on regular work weeks. 6X6 rotation and only paid 5 days a week (8 Hrs a day)while your in tour. Or you could work in North Bay and if they don't like you they simply reclass you and escort you out.

The people I worked with were great. I enjoyed working with them. I was also proud to support our client, the Canadian military.
Cons
Senior management treated employees poorly. In the years I was there, I was compelled to sign my employment contract three times. Each time, the contract had fewer benefits. Legally this was a constructive dismissal each time, but due to COVID and other family issues, I didn’t have the legal and financial resources to contest the revised contract each time. Which they knew, and they used this to their advantage.
