      Benefits are good, but management lacks empathy

      Pros

      Life Insurance, 401K match and benefits.

      Cons

      At Javan I was a person and treated with understanding and empathy. When Javan became CHA I became a number on a spreadsheet! No matter how good you are at your job, you are expendable!!! Subpar onboarding when given a new position. Upper management has a cut-throat leadership style which does not promote trust and teamwork. PTO is not awarded or structured by employee longevity but only by position held in the company which is terrible.

      Pros

      Company has been focused on growth and acquisitions. You're either with the right team or struggling to find work.

      Cons

      Not very in touch with it's work force as a private equity backed organization. Bottom line focused. Out of touch with society and the younger workforce that is not motivated to work.

      You are correct, we are focused on growth. Growing our business benefits everyone; growth = opportunity. Unfortunately, there are sometimes with groups experience a dip in work. However, our portfolio is sizeable, allowing us to support our teams when the work slows down for a bit. I’m sorry you feel we are not in touch. CHA invests in our employees in large and small ways every day. Our people are our success, so that investment is critical and something we take very seriously.
