Pros

Just one - Salary on Time

Cons

Well If i need to describe casio in one word it could be Dictatorship- Monarchy. The organisation truly follows a Hierarchy and the logic are more reasonable from lower to upper Hierarchy However the upper Management do not hold any Professional Management Degree they are just diploma Graduates. Everyone are forced to follow orders and not allow to ask questions . The HR and Management thinks that there Brand is so Big hence its fine to harass and embrace employees specially in Marketing Department. From CEO to Vice-President , to HOD everyone's main focus is in micro Management eg what time employees coming to office , what they are discussing , what clothes they are wearing. If you have 2 offers then simple and clear advice to you pick the 2nd offer , if you have single Casio offer- then wait for another offer , and if you are job less and you have casio offer still i will recommend you to search for another opportunity . The same Management is ruling the organisation from last 20 years however the middle and lower management gets changed every year as its an achievement for someone to stay in the organisation for 6 months. Furthermore, Company will not care about you in crises situation higher management believes firing people in corona time will safe themselves

Pros

No pros. only cons. why did i join this stupid company.

Cons

I joined Casio India in the watches division as Brand Manager. The culture is so bad, it'll be very difficult for a sane person to breathe even. The Management is pathetic. The people are here for 12-13 years and they think in the same direction. You are supposed to follow their orders like a donkey and work whole day and whole night. You are not supposed to question anything, if you question, they'll throw you out. They work like autocrats and everyone like to micro manage everything. You have to prove and justify your every single day and still gets to listen to abuses. People don't know how to talk without using 2 abuses in a single sentence. The worst is the marketing team and people heading it. DON'T JOIN this stupid company. You'll be better off. Itna kharab maahol zindagi mein nhi dekha aajtak. No work life balance. Leave balance, there will be no life only.

Pros

Absolutely nothing to like here

Cons

At this point, there is absolutely nothing to like about this organisation. Language barrier is a huge problem. The Japanese management brighter understands not can speak in English and it is straight up embarrassing to witness. The management promotes brainless people who can only receive instructions and have no originality of thought or intelligence - you will get to see these examples in business development, marketing and HR. It is laughable to see the new COO and HR struggle with the basics on a day to day basis. The recently promoted people are undeserving and the arrogance they have acquired overnight is a typical example of what happens when you give sudden power in the hands of incompetent people - particularly the COO, the HR and the Marketing HOD. The most problematic part is that the Japanese management, specifically the MD are big time racists - they make money off of Indians, take their resources from Indians but treat them like dogs and sometimes like they’re invisible. It is rather embarrassing to see how they lack most basic and civic sense - can barely say “thank you” or “you’re welcome”. It is almost as if they never went to attend school. Their sense of and actual inferiority as compared to most English speaking Indian staff is stark. It is shocking how tone deaf the Japanese management is. There are so many examples in today’s day and age about what is considered good comoany culture and there are so many obvious parameters - companies like Google, Sony, Panasonic have set such good examples and yet they act like retards (specially the new Director) and push stupid policies in the name of “internal checks and control” and he is actually the reason why a lot of good talent is going out. In the name of checks and control, managers are merely supposed to seek follow ups and have no accountability for their own selves. The new director lacks personality and a strong character and comes across as a stupid robot who will ask you the stupidest of questions and will waste your company’s time. They don’t know how to treat employees and they certainly don’t know how to retain good employees. They keep organising these meeting where they keep telling Indians about themselves and Indian staff is really not interested. They keep presenting Japan as some kind of a highly sought after place whereas nobody is really interested in it or it’s culture. Indians find it rather robotic and depressing. Somebody really needs to give tye MD and the Director a reality check and let them know that we really don’t care for their nonsense.
