Pros

I no longer work there.

Cons

Upper Management has no experience, or knowledge in the fields they attempt to work in. They lack leadership, and communication skills. Multiple lawsuits filed for unfair business practices, and labor law violations. Too many Chiefs, not enough Indians. Too many hats to be worn by everyone. Management lies to employees to justify poor salary compensation.

Pros

Company has done excellent work all around for their Federal Government customers specifically ARMY, Navy, and FAA. Even with the toughest of customers, company has a solid reputation to be flexible and still outperform. For me, it's been a great place to really be challenged and learn a lot for my own professional growth. Executive leadership has really given me additional responsibilities and supported me to be successful. It is really a family-oriented culture (everyone takes pride and supports each other)

Cons

Federal Government contracting has become a very tough business with less focus on best value but on low price which makes it difficult on a company to truly grow

Pros

Paycheck. Evidently I negotiated at the high end of this and ended up getting a pretty decent rate. Some co-workers were genuinely pleasant to be around.

Cons

Management, and the company in general, has become a laughing point in interior FAA circles. Program Managers readily, and consistently, referred to CalNet as the business model NOT to follow when wanting to continue contract awards. Trying to subtly relay this to management was met with deer-in-headlight response. Blinders, man, blinders... Several high profile FAA programs and their FAA personnel had relationships with me that just absolutely were doing everything in their power to get released from having to deal with that management. Was a unique situation to be loved and hated at the same time.
