Pros

Nice location in Fremont with a view of Lake Union.

Cons

Poor benefits package, lots of staff turnover, terrible communication between management and just about everyone, low morale, team-work is not valued or employed. This company is not welcoming to women.

Would not recommend working here

Pros

I do not have any to list.

Cons

I would not recommend working for Build Urban. When I was offered a position, I was hesitant to accept because of the many negative reviews online, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and felt hopeful that the company was on a better track now. I was wrong. Build Urban abuses their subcontractors, disrespects their neighbors, and under values their employees. Upper management is slow to make changes and will ignore feedback - because at the end of the day, as long as the houses are being sold and they are making their money, they do not care about business ethics, their employees, safety, or quality construction practices.
