Learn a lot very fast.

Cons

Learning a lot very fast because you are thrown into the fire with zero training. If you don't know it, don't bother asking someone because they're already bogged down with their own work. Long hours and working well outside of your 'shift'. Clients will call you if they somehow manage to get your phone number, and will call at 2 a.m to fix an issue. NOC Management lacks accountability in all departments. They will tell you to do something and then when it's finished it's magically wrong, and it's your fault. Management says that there is opportunity to grow, which isn't inherently false. You will be stuck working the exact same work as you would if you were promoted, but without the promotion. Oh and the promotion will never come. Painfully, painfully, painfully underpaid and average benefits.
