Long hours and hard work

Extremely toxic environment from day one. Working after hours is not only encouraged, you will be informally penalized if not available at all hours. So obviously, no work/life balance. Ideas and feedback are not welcome and even belittled. So many “controls” in place that it makes it impossible to actually accomplish anything, leading to never ending frustrations. So many pointless teams meetings. Working more hours wouldn’t be the end of the world, if you were actually accomplishing things. Just not a good environment, was not even worth the pay or benefits to me.
