Pros

The people lower down in the company care, are friendly and make the job significantly better when you're coming in every day. Great benefits and they did their best to keep the snacks going.

Cons

A decision made in one week will be completely uprooted the next. It seems like the direction the company is going doesn't line up with the values you find in their marketing which comes across as desperate. The CEO just comes across as someone who doesn't think decisions through before doing them and instead just follows the novelty of whatever is being discussed. Which again puts the vision of the company in question. So much so that he even talks about that in his own town hall meetings where he mentions ideas for where the company is going and openly says "This is just me thinking off the top of my head" which is profoundly confusing when you just want to know where we're actually heading. In the time I worked there, I have never seen the CRO for maybe more than 20 seconds in the office nor has he ever gone around to even just meet people in the various teams as he works in a different city. I could not tell you what he's done for the company or what he does on a daily basis. At least the CFO would chat and be present with people. This year there were massive layoffs and they provided the legal minimum amount of severance required (for me at least). The way that a company welcomes its new employees is just as important as how they say goodbye to people leaving (look at what shopify did after they admitted their mistake and had to lay off people). The lack of compassion shines a light on how the company values its employees.
