Pros

Supportive leadership team. Great work life balance. Realistic quotas. Low friction between sales and CS. Strong executive team.

Cons

If you don’t have a science background you’ll need to do some more work to ramp quickly like watching more gong calls, meeting with other AEs and your onboarding buddy more often to pick their brain so you can learn the industry better. Selling motion is the same but helpful when you understand how Pharma/Biotech companies operate including hierarchy and job roles.

Pros

+ work alongside smart, mission-driven people in fast paced, inclusive environment + able to provide meaningful impact quickly

Cons

- startup growing pains. could benefit from more documented processes and durable mechanisms to help the new members onboard and founders scale - long interview / hiring process (Tip: reach out to work references early as to not slow down the hiring process, they will not extend an offer until they’ve been thoroughly vetted)

Pros

BioRender has built a truly great product with a meaningful mission and strong market position. The caliber of talent here is consistently impressive - team members are sharp, hardworking, and genuinely kind. Leadership invests real effort in building a culture that celebrates wins and supports career growth. The pace is fast and the work is hard, but it's uniquely rewarding building for science alongside people who care deeply about getting it right.

Cons

Like many companies at this stage, BioRender is still building out foundational operational infrastructure to match its growth. This comes with some growing pains that creates some day-to-day choppiness, but leadership has shown genuine commitment to resourcing these gaps.
