This is business that processes credit card and check transactions for the debt collection industry. This is a dead end company for technology. Don't walk, run away from this one. Expect to work around an older crowd that offers no support and heaps on the attacks. While they will present as they are cutting edge, expect to work with software and processes from fifteen years ago.
Cons
While the other departments within this company are more inline with the company culture, the technology department is not at all like the rest of the organization.Unrealistic deadlines, poor communication about what is expected, no requirements for any of your deliverables, and most of the technology team are H1B's that are beholden to management to keep up their status. Expect 12-15 hour days to be the norm. Compensation is below the market average as well.
