Pros

It's better than universal credit

Cons

No time and a half on bank holidays, strict controls on when you can take annual leave (3 weeks in summer, 2 in winter, no part weeks), very low pay, long hours, management always take the easy route regardless of the consequences. Annual bonus is very hard to get as slots machines (which are completely out of employee control) affect ability to hit targets. So almost no employee benefits, no sick pay, no time and a half, no overtime bonus, they don't care about their employees, simple as that., just an easily replaceable number.

Pros

Good Customers and sometimes good tips

Cons

Management are terrible and sack people for ridiculous reasons and let others get away with murder. Long hours and lots of lone working. Dealing with aggressive and sometimes threatening people. Minimum wage yet have to do like 4 jobs yourself including security, cashier and management duties while alone.
