Thank you for taking the time to share. I appreciate your feedback of hiring the right people for the job. Whilst our entire evaluation/interview process is extensive, we can only fully evaluate the people<>job<>company fit after on-the-job probation. I am sad that you found this experience to be a waste of time. We did the best we could, but will be constantly looking to improve. Thank you for acknowledging the calibre of our team. I know each of them can excel at any other company but they choose us, for which I am grateful for, everyday. Thanks again for your time and efforts at BeeX. We wish you all the best, Cheers Grace Chia, CEO

Pros

- You get to work with some talented people. - It is located within a university. There are a lot of cheap food around.

Cons

- Zero onboarding for new hires. There was only a 30 minute safety briefing and then you are expected to function as if you had been there for 3 years. - Zero benefits. The company only pays a salary. No insurance, no overtime. You might be offered a stock purchase option, but that will be deducted from your monthly salary. - Zero guidance for new hires. You are expected to ask questions, but if you do not even know what you do not know, and you missed the questions, good luck with that, because that is your fault :) - Favoritism from the upper management. Some employees are treated better than others. (You need to be close friends with the upper management to get this perk) Upper management very clearly stated that only a few key persons' opinions and feelings in the company matter to them. The rest are expendables. If you are reading this and considering a job there, you are most likely to be one of the expendables. - Unreasonable timelines for designs and fabrication. If there is a delay from the fabricators, it's your fault :) - Poor processes - Poor documentation. A project or task that had been ongoing for months will be assigned to you and good luck if you can't find a solution or any documentation. It's your fault :) - No trainings. Everything is on the job learning. If you are looking for a mentor or more structured learning, forget it. - Calculative upper management. Constantly being reminded of your man hours - Upper management do not like to take responsibility of their decisions. - Unclear career path. Forget about any career path if you are not one of the favorites. You will be only be squeezed dry and left with nothing.

Thank you for taking the time to share, and I am sorry that this has been a negative experience for you. Feedback is hugely valuable to help us improve / overcome shortcomings as an ambitious and fast-moving startup. I took time to respond because time was needed to implement and measure our actions. Just writing about what we will do was not enough. In Q3-Q4 2022, resources were set aside for more structured on-boarding, role-specific training, and documentation. Healthcare and welfare benefits with flexible hours were implemented whilst ensuring overall long-term sustainability for a startup. Feedback from new hires has indicated these changes achieved intended results, and this will be a continuous evolution of processes at BeeX. Blame-culture /"your fault"/favouritism is not how we run this company, and I'm sorry to hear about how you felt. We are looking to improve our communications. We will continue to drive ambitious timelines with limited resources. For an outsized bright future of BeeX, we have to continue striving for excellence and never settle. What is good enough somewhere else may not make it here. Thank you for acknowledging the talents of our team. I know each of them can excel at any other company but they choose us, for which I am hugely grateful for. The speed of growth of their careers is one of the best things a startup can provide and we are continually exploring how we can provide more training / external mentorship to help them achieve what they will like for themselves. Thanks again for your feedback, Cheers Grace Chia, CEO
