Pros

Nothing they are a complete extortionist!

Cons

They lie to your face and tell you that you will make thousands of dollars a week. They don't even pay you !!! They give you a $600 retainer but if you don't make more than $600 in ticket sales they don't pay you at all. What they are selling is a complete scam. They make out like it's a charity but they get 90% of the profit!! They make U get an ABN so on-top of the low pay you have to pay public liability insurance and your own tax. Which can be hard if you don't know the exact numbers you need to pay I'm tax each week. Absolute joke of a company !!! When I left they tried not to pay me at all for my sales.

Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re sorry to hear that you've had a staunchly negative experience with us. Given the tone of your review, we'd like to say categorically that lying is simply not something that benefits our business. Lying or misleading our contractors would only cost us more money to hire and recruit replacements. We take these sort of allegations seriously, and after speaking to our in-house team there has been no record of such a complaint. If there is a legitimate concern still outstanding, please follow up with our office. Hours on our website. - HR

Pros

It was high work ethic, which can be good or bad to some people It did teach you to be more confident when talking to people (however, through falsified storytelling to sell the service)

Cons

The role of the job essentially is door to door sales asking individuals or organisations to donate money to a specific charity. The major con within the role is that the role description itself was completely misleading. They twisted the verbal description to make it sound like the role is more than door to door sales by adding fancy words like marketing and business progression. The first thing I noticed when I got the job was the amount of foreign backpackers that were employed there, which wasn’t a problem to me personally of course, but just merely an observation as to how a lot of door to door sales jobs, including this one, Take advantage of backpackers because there turnover rate is so high for non backpackers so they wouldn’t have any employees if they didn’t hire them. I also felt that a lot of the current employees there, didn’t believe in the service they were selling, and were just cocky and money driven. They were only concerned about the outcome of the service they were promoting and not the core reason as to why they were doing it. All in all, there are better places to gain experience within business and sales.
