Pros
Communication between management and employees was very good. They try to keep employees on even when work slows down. I'm sure there is a breaking point, but BND seemed to retain employees longer than other companies. They get diverse contracts (at least as they pertain to field work) so you learn about various types of construction management (Civil, Environmental, etc.)
Cons
The benefits could be better. Insurance is good, if you are single, but married with children will cost you. There used to be a profit sharing program that depended on the profit claimed by the company (the declarations seems sketchy some years), but I think they ended it and I am not certain what replaced it.
