Pros
I like the position I was hired for; it was straightforward and enjoyed collaborating with my colleagues. Supporting employees through their leave and workers' compensation claims was a fulfilling aspect of the role.
Cons
Shortly after I started, the entire department left, and I became the only HR staff for several months. I essentially operated as an HR Generalist, although I was hired as a Leave WC & ADA Specialist. The leadership in HR were inexperienced and it made the work environment unbearable.
