      You’ll get a lot of experience working with the marginalized community. Lots of community engagement work.

      Cons

      Pay is low, social services does a lot of work for little pay.

      Pros

      The only advantage is that you’re off on weekends and you’re doing what you love. If you love serving your community then this is an option.

      Cons

      UNORGANIZED. The pay is significantly lower than the average. You don’t have a set schedule. There’s a shortage on Medical Assistants so you’ll be doing the work of 4 people. There is no clear cut leadership. It’s way too many chiefs and not enough Indians.
