Pros

Clean operation; good competitive offering of products and their technical support.

Cons

Atotech USA must overhaul current management team; Kuldip Johal (Managing Director) is working very hard to ruin teamwork approach. He is clueless, does not know how to motivate his staff. He is only fit to be a lab mouse; has no backbone to support instructions he provides to his direct reports; especially when challenged by German management. He has a pattern of lying and giving confusing and contradicting instructions to local employees and later denying.

Pros

Total had run and managed Atotech for decades and made this Company as a leading chemical company worldwide. The approach they had towards the organisation made the management of Atotech to do excel. However, every good thing must have to face horrible times as well and there Carlyle came into picture in 2017. Carlyle made this organisation as a place where everyone is afraid, bunch of two or three people came from Carlyle Cos. who are treating themselves as supremo of Atotech slowly and gradually ruined the entire work atmosphere of world-wide operations. Everywhere around the world, employees were started to be treated with dishonesty and unprofessional manner, lead to a situation where no employee is happy working with Atotech. Barely one or two, which are (1) safety - promote safety as a key element though only on paper; in reality, they compromise with everything; (2) compliance - another big thing on paper but the reality behind is to be compliant for the name shake; upper management do dirty politics and hardly bothered about the essence of compliance.

Cons

No care and respect of Employees: People are ill-mannered treated. Only promises are given just to make the required work done. Dirty Polictics by the upper management and global management: Effectively there is no management, rather the said supremos are taking decisions on everything. Funniest part, whatever (mostly wrong) they are doing since day one is considered right for Atotech and even Carlyle supports it but even the right things done by any honest employee is subject matter of question, investigation and harassment. Cunning HR and HR Practices: They take 30-40% of your hard earned money when you leave from the company even though there is no policy, they make false document just to avoid payment to you. Multiple court cases are filed against them with multiple courts. No work life balance: If you are and performer, this place is not for you because of two reasons - (1) if you perform, you will be assigned work of another 10 non-performer; (2) after this, you will be questioned, why have you done all works at your own. So, basically, your integrity and honesty will be at stake if you do work for them. No Carreer growth: This organisation is a place where reward and appraisal are only for those who are good in greasiness to those supremo. Flattery action will give you reward, if you're not good in this, don't expect much about your carrer growth. Equal treatment of performer with non-performer: irrelevant of your performance, work ethics and values, you will always be standing at par with those who donot perform. No job assurance: Employees of Jet Airways may be considered as more secure even after this financial crisis compare to employees of Atotech becuase of their approach. Sales are constantly decreasing because of unwanted and unplanned experiments.
