Untrustworthy: The CEO, Partners, and Managers break the first cardinal rule by being unable to separate the personal from business.
Pretentious: It is a fast food restaurant group masquerading as fine dining.
Run by idiots: General Managers have been with the company for decades and some have never worked anywhere else, so they are blind to how the industry is evolving and are clueless about new trends. They are intimidated by their staffs because they realize that their staffs know more about the business than they do, so as a result they micro-manage every tiny detail because they have zero confidence in their own abilities. They don't even know how to set a table correctly. In fact, they place their bread knives upside down on the bread plate because, get this, it's more Feng Shui. Seriously, I kid you not. Totally ridiculous! There's a reason none of their "fine-dining" restaurants have any stars or awards, because they obviously don't know what they're doing.
Unprofessional: Owners aren't even aware of the hours of operation in their own restaurant and have been known to show up for dinner more than an hour after the last employee has already clocked out. How ridiculous is that?
Unethical: Nepotism is rampant and the CEO and Board Member's children are allowed to dine for free on the company dime. The fact that it's a publicly held company astounds me. The stock holders obviously have their heads in the sand, because they're being robbed right and left.
