Though working as an engineer at AngelList seems like a perfect job on paper, there's many red flags that surface within the first few weeks of working here. The culture is highly competitive with your teammates willing to throw you under the bus for their own sake. Work/life balance is unheard of. Management claims to care about helping you grow in your career but is unable to provide actionable feedback. You may provide your own feedback to your manager, but it will go nowhere as management is stuck in their ways and unwilling to change. Also any feedback or questions you ask will be used against you in your review.
There is inconsistent direction from higher management on where things are heading and constant shifts in what to work on. This results in nice looking products that aren't always reliably built.
I'd recommend staying as far away as you can.
