Getting worse and worse

Pros

Still paying salaries. Good entertainment level in general meetings. Insane fantasies compensate somewhat the lack of sense of reality. If you can ignore that all of this is harmul to your life, you'll be able to enjoy a good show.

Cons

Know-how keeps leaving the company or being irresponsibly sent away, and it is being replaced mainly by ignorant (and sometimes agressive) yes-men, bureaucracy lovers born to control others and say "yes" to the "lider", that obliterate productivity and demotivate workers even more. Many people are seeking to leave and many already left the company, but management calls this the "new future" and builds another reality with Powerpoint presentations and Excel sheets.

Pros

Great co-workers, very supportive. Still a good environment to start a career.

Cons

Undergoing restructuring since 2013. Cost cuts were so severe they're killing business. Lack of care for customers, product and employees. Unorthodox methods to determine people to leave: subtle menace, downgrading positions, tweaking yearly results to avoid paying bonus, total lack of transparency in communication regarding the company situation.

Declining into oblivion

Pros

Used to be a great place to work, collaborate and innovate. A few years back, Altitude Software was indeed a leader when it comes to providing comprehensive and powerful technologies for contact centres. A lot of talented and capable people still work here.

Cons

For a few years now the company has been going through what some call a “restructuring phase”. Unfortunately the process is chaotic and mismanaged to the point where employees can no longer perform effectively. Departments are isolated and teams split up with little or no way of interacting or collaborating. The company has no meaningful career evolution paths or internal training programs. Focus is put entirely on revenue, reducing everything and anyone to a number in someone’s excel sheet. A lot of talented people have already left the company and many more are on the way out.
