Pros

Altis is always innovating with technology and finding ways to make work easier and smarter. Leadership genuinely cares about employees, their wellbeing, feedback, and growth. They actually listen to input from all levels and follow through. “Remote by choice” isn’t just talk, they’ve stayed true to their word and built flexibility into the culture. Communication is constant, transparent, and focused on celebrating wins. There’s a sense that everyone’s voice matters and the company is always striving to improve.

Cons

Only positives to share at this time!

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful reflection on your experience at Altis. Hearing this from someone who has been part of the team through three highly transformative years is important to us. We’re glad to hear that our commitment to innovation, flexibility, and open communication has resonated with you. Staying true to being remote by choice and continuing to invest in technology are priorities we take seriously, so it’s encouraging to know those efforts are making a difference. Thank you as well for recognizing the transparency and care our leaders strive to bring to the organization. Creating an environment where people feel supported and empowered to grow is central to how we work, together. We appreciate the trust and energy you bring to the team – thank you for being a part of our journey!

Pros

Training is good in the beginning Nice office

Cons

Micromanagement Poor Management and Leadership communication High-school Environment You need to kiss leadership to be liked No room for growth Validation is required by most of the management. Need to be reminded they are doing a good job by reminding themselves. Pretend to care about the candidates. Management's communication is fake, they will talk behind your back about personal matters

Thank you for your post – which looks a lot like a former post of yours. This is a false post. You state that you are a current employee – and that we have a nice office, and yet we have not been working on-site for over one year. You note that there is a high-school environment and micro-management, again, in this off-site context, the environment is held on video conference and micromanagement is not possible. Our employee surveys are showing the opposite of your statements – for example, many of our team members are taking an active part in our Career Pathing, and growing consistently. We have been engaging in active surveys with our candidates on assignment, and our scores are far superior to industry standards. We follow up with candidates who express a concern about finding work, and take steps to remedy what’s possible in their job search. The last point demonstrates that this is a competitor or very disgruntled person making false claims – why disparage an ethical firm? We have never provided cash, and we do not make “side deals”. We serve hundreds of clients in the staffing space with professionalism, clarity and ethics. If you wish to have a conversation, please reach out to any of our team. We’re here in support of our clients, our candidates and our community. Competitors seeking to be disparaging is not required.

Pros

I have nothing positive to contribute.

Cons

Office full of cliques, disorganized training, no support or communication. Appearances are more important than actual value. Management is not qualified to lead and if you aren't drinking the kool-aid you are treated poorly. One of the most toxic places I have ever worked. Drinking is promoted and if you don't you are bullied. High turnover.

We are sad to learn of your experience, and hope you raised your concerns with HR, our CEO, or a leader. Regarding the specific items mentioned in your post... Our Learning Management System has been in place for a few years now, and has been well adopted. We’re still improving it of course, and we’re surprised that you found your training ineffective. It’s been one of our strengths historically. You note that managers were not qualified and that we should measure satisfaction. We implemented anonymous Engagement Surveys in 2019, and these have been extremely insightful. Our ratings are very high, although we naturally look for improvements and take actions. Our retention rates are very positive, so this feedback seems outdated or misaligned with what is happening in our firm. You also highlight cliques – and yet we’ve been remote now for over 8 months. It’s hard to conceptualize a clique in the context of a remote work setting. A takeaway here would be to talk with your leaders about concerns such as these while employed. Of course this isn't the best forum to fully address your concerns. We welcome a phone call if you would like to further discuss your experience.
