      Good Company to work for

      Pros

      This was a good company to work for. I was hired to do IT staffing for a remote client. Alphanumeric treated me fairly. I would work for them again for the right opportunity.

      Cons

      For my position, I was assigned to a remote client in another state, so I did not get much interaction with my Alphanumeric Manager. Also, since this was a contracted role with the company where I was placed, there was no room for any pay raises.

      Great Company

      Systems engineer

      Pros

      Lots of opportunity to be a jack of all trades. I left after the acquisition, but still have many friends there.

      Cons

      Learned lots of different skills there but wanted to broaden my wings and their experience was in some narrow verticals.

      Some good, lots of bad

      Pros

      Allows you to lead a personal life. Travel only within the state of NC. Decent benefits. Great team of engineers to collaborate with. Awesome people to work with in all departments.

      Cons

      The company makes NO investment in training it's employees or keeping their services team up to date with the latest technologies, yet expects them to be able to sell and implement those technologies. No raises or promotions, EVER. Management is clueless about where technology is headed and what products and services should be invested in. Alphanumeric has been laying off employees in spurts for the past year. A simple indication that the poor leadership is catching up to them.
