Great medical insurance and life insurance and half day Fridays in the summer are awesome. The average employees are fun and great to be around.

Recent restructuring got rid of some good people and didn't make sense. Those of us left are scared. Salary is average for chemical industry and bonuses are a based on whim and discretion of top management. Very flat organization. Nepotism is rampant and encouraged.

Customers and coworkers alike are are generally great people. Most managers are supportive and helpful. Like most workplaces there's a couple bad eggs but nothing being professional can't handle.

This is definitely an old school good old boys club with rampant nepotism. The people are nice, but it's a public company so still very disenfranchising to see nepo babies get fast tracked.

- Low pay - Extreme nepotism - They dangle the carrot of a promotion in front of you for years before MAYBE offering you a whooping 5% promotion - Ice cream parties (insult to injury) - Everything is a secret - Management are some of the finest sycophants

Easier to get a a job here than other petrochemical companies. If you are part of the old boys club it’s a pro as they will probably hire you.

They hire family members in over talent and promote only via nepotism. Very senior members all golf and college buddies no leadership , talent or intelligence. Rich family own the company so they can buy their friends jobs. Terrible HR you actually hear them say remarks that are offensive and the ones you don’t hear just don’t want to deal with issues because they don’t have the talent or backbone to deal with it. You can tell by the lack of follow up regarding other bad reviews on Glassdoor. Not focused on customers or innovation and so can’t see how they will continue to operate long term.
