Pros
Great company if you want your work to help individuals. While I can’t speak for every team, my team has been nothing but supportive and has helped me excel in my current position. Great team all around and I have yet to come across an individual with an ego. You will learn a lot at this company and will have the required tools to achieve your goals. Work life balance has been excellent as well. Managers really care about you excelling and making sure you also do not get overworked.
Cons
Even though it’s a great company, it still has its fair shares of shortcomings. First and probably the biggest is pay. While it is not terrible it is definitely on the lower end. Especially since this company is located in Southern California where expenses keep on increasing. I’ve talked to multiple individuals and they generally come to the same conclusion that pay can be better. Second, there have been instances where progress in terms of researching and implementing new features can come to a crawl. Which is most likely because of regulatory hurdles because we work on class III medical devices, but it sometimes feels like you are waiting for one item for a couple of weeks to get approval in order for you to progress on your task.
