In this position, I was cross trained in high volume recruiting, in handling a variety of human resources issues as well as in processing payroll, but predominantly out of necessity. Very tight ship here, owner felt everyone should do everything, except them.
Cons
Made to feel that I should have been grateful to have worked for the company instead of the company being grateful for my commitment and devotion. Can count on 1 hand how many times management bought lunch for the staff in 20 years. Old School management style. No flexibility with working hybrid/remote. Unpredictable annual bonus, no day to day or month to month incentive.
